# Set Resource Property (Batch)

Update properties on many files or folders in one call from Apex, through the Set Resource Property (Batch) action class.

> **One storage library per call** — Every update in the call is sent with the storage library of the first resource, so resources in different libraries fail. Make one call per library. The call also fails if the first group has no updates. To update a single resource, or to set properties with your own Map<String, String&gt;, use Set Resource Property.
