# Insert Link

The Insert Link action adds a hyperlink to your document using a stored URL, with a custom label that can dynamically update if the URL is stored in a record.

## Introduction

The Insert Link action adds a hyperlink to your document using a stored URL. The link can have a custom label and dynamically update if the URL is stored in a record.

- Select "Insert Link"
- From the Select Action drop-down menu, choose Insert Link.

- Add a Label
- Enter a descriptive label for the link (e.g., "Company Website").
- This label will be displayed as the clickable text in the generated document.

- Select the URL Source
- Choose the field containing the website URL; if stored in a record, the link will dynamically update for different records.

- Insert the Link
- Click Insert to add the hyperlink to your document.

- Adjust as Needed
- Modify the placement, formatting, or text style to fit the document’s layout.
