The Usage section under Document Generation in Salesforce provides an intuitive dashboard to monitor your document generation activities using CloudFiles. It offers real-time visibility into how document-related flow actions are being utilized, helping administrators and users understand their consumption trends and credit usage patterns.

## What Is Tracked?

The dashboard displays the total number of documents generated using the following flow actions:
- CloudFiles: Generate Document Used for standard document generation via flows, typically for one record at a time. Each time this action is executed in a flow, 1 credit is consumed per document generated, and 1 count is added to the usage metric.
- CloudFiles: Generate Document (Batch) This flow action supports bulk generation and adds 1 credit and 1 document count for each document generated, even when multiple doc-gen template inputs are used. The dashboard reflects the total number of individual documents, not just the batch trigger.
- CloudFiles: Generate Document (Sync) Each execution of this action results in the generation of 1 document, adding 1 count to the usage dashboard, and consuming 1 credit.

## Dashboard Overview

The dashboard presents:
- A bar graph showing the number of credits across time (daily/weekly/monthly intervals).
- Total count of Doc-Gen actions executed within a selected time frame.
- Filter options:
- Interval Selector: Day, Week, Month
- Date Range Selector: Last 7, 30, 90, 180 days, 1 year

For instance, in the screenshot provided, 14 documents were generated between June 21 and July 21, with visible peaks on specific days, representing flow executions.
