# How to get CloudFiles API key

Follow these steps to get your API key for using CloudFiles Rest APIs.

Most of CloudFiles automation features can be accessed using the Flow Actions or CloudFiles Apex client. However, at times, you might want to use CloudFiles Rest APIs.

To use the Rest API, please follow the instructions below to get your API key -

- Click on "Manage Subscription" from the app home page in Salesforce

- Click on "Account" tab in the left sidebar, and then "Security" tab in the main pane. Then click "View API Key"
