Widget Configuration
Once you select the Content Library Widget type, you'll be guided to further settings to customize the widget according to your requirements. The image below shows how this setting looks like.

Key Configuration Fields
- Widget Type - Selected widget type
- Widget Config Name - Provide a unique name for this widget configuration for easy identification
- Widget Config Description - Detail the specific application or purpose of this widget configuration.
- Configurations: Create Folder, File Upload and Folder Upload.
- Widget Columns: Configure the columns to display in the widget.
- The widget supports configurable columns, allowing users to customize the displayed information.
- Click Add Columns to select the data fields (Name, Created By, Created On, Modified On) you want to display in the widget.
- File Click Behavior: This setting determines what happens when a user clicks on a file within the widget. Users can choose from the following options:
- Preview in Salesforce β Opens the file preview within Salesforce.
- Open within library in a new tab β Opens the document in a separate tab within the document library.
- None β Disables file click actions, requiring users to manually download files.
- Widget Base Path: This sets the default location for retrieving documents, ensuring organized content and restricted access to relevant files.
- Resource Actions: This defines custom actions at the resource level (individual file / folder level) that can be achieved with the help of flows.
- List Actions: This defines custom actions for multiple resources (files and folders) that can be achieved with the help of flows.

You can further configure the widget to support the following functionalities -
Create Folder: Allows users to create new folders within the connected external storage. For detailed instructions, refer to Create Folder.
