Insert Link

The Insert Link action adds a hyperlink to your document using a stored URL. The link can have a custom label and dynamically update if the URL is stored in a record.

  1. Select "Insert Link"
    • From the Select Action drop-down menu, choose Insert Link.
  2. Add a Label
    • Enter a descriptive label for the link (e.g., "Company Website").
    • This label will be displayed as the clickable text in the generated document.
  3. Select the URL Source
    • Choose the field containing the website URL; if stored in a record, the link will dynamically update for different records.
  4. Insert the Link
    • Click Insert to add the hyperlink to your document.
  5. Adjust as Needed
    • Modify the placement, formatting, or text style to fit the document’s layout.
