I’m getting Spam warning on CloudFiles links
While sharing CloudFiles links, you might sometimes get spam warning from browsers or your emails containing CloudFiles links might be categorized as spam.
These issues are related to CloudFiles' domain being flagged by browsers & email clients, due to abuse of our services by bad actors. CloudFiles is a public file sharing service and prone to people mis-using it to host spam content. We have automated and manual systems in place to regularly check for such content and remove it, however sometimes some content might slip our review process and get shared publicly.

To prevent these issues and ensure a smooth file sharing experience for your clients, we recommend white-labelling your file-sharing links. This will allow the links to appear under your domain (e.g., files.yourdomain.com) rather than cloudfiles.to. By setting up a custom branded domain, you can resolve the spam issues permanently. Here’s how you can set it up:

- Your file sharing links will appear as files.yourdomain.com/identifier, bypassing the issues related to cloudfiles.to being flagged.

- What happens to my existing links Your existing links will continue working on both domains, the cloudfiles.to domain and your custom domain. You can re-share your existing links by replacing the domain part to your custom domain. For example cloudfiles.to/xyz would become files.yourdomain.com/xyz
