CloudFiles' content library is powered by a powerful search that can be used to quickly and easily locate folders or data rooms, documents as well as links in your online file storage. The search is intelligent enough to show and act upon these different results. The unification method used behind this makes it even easier to navigate around the content library.
In order to search in the library, follow the simple steps below -
- Access the content library in your CloudFiles account, which can be found at the top.
- Next click on the search box and start typing your requisite file name.
Once your result is shown is the list, you can click on the specific list item to go to it. The different items are differentiated using the tile icons.
- If you click on a folder result, you will be redirected to the folder.
- If you click on the file result, the links screen for the file will open.
- Clicking on a link result opens the link settings.
- Clicking on a data room will open the relevant data room in CloudFiles.
When you delete a file, folder, dataroom, or link, they won't appear in the search results anymore. To understand more about File Management in CloudFiles, check out the details and learn how it works. However, links whose status has been made offline will be seen in the search results.
