External Storage / Library Configuration

CloudFiles allows seamless integration with multiple external storage providers, enabling users to store, access, and manage files within Salesforce. This section guides you through setting up and managing external storage libraries.

Getting Started

Once your CloudFiles account is set up, you will land on the Home Tab.

Follow these steps to configure your storage libraries:

1 - Navigate to the "Document Management" tab – This is where you access all CloudFiles settings. 2 - Click "Start Trial" if you don't have a subscription yet.

3 - Select libraries to work with – Click "+" to add libraries and proceed with the setup.

4 - Setup Home – Explore quick setup guides and resources.

5 - Manage Libraries – Use the sidebar to connect new libraries or modify existing ones.

6 - Library-Specific Configuration – Once a library is connected, additional configurations based on the storage provider will be required.

Supported Storage Libraries

CloudFiles supports a wide range of external storage providers:

  1. SharePoint
  2. OneDrive
  3. AWS - S3
  4. Azure Blob
  5. MS Teams
  6. Box
  7. Dropbox
  8. CloudFiles - If customer wants to use cloudfiles as a storage
