What is an Automation Action?
CloudFiles actions in Salesforce flows let you create folders, update permissions, or copy files to external storage like SharePoint or Google Drive. Each action counts as one execution per flow run, no matter how many files it processes. Your plan includes a monthly quota of action uses per license, aggregated annually. If you exceed limits, flows keep working, but CloudFiles may ask you to upgrade if usage stays high.
What is an AI credit
CloudFiles AI lets you query, classify, and summarize documents using natural language. AI credits are used for billing: one credit per page when processing a file, and one credit for each query made on that file.
How do I check my consumed automation credits?
Each CloudFiles flow action uses one automation credit, and unused credits don’t roll over. To check usage, go to the App Launcher in Salesforce, open CloudFiles, click the Document Management tab, and select Automation in the sidebar to see credits consumed by day, week, and month. Contact support if you need more credits.
How to make existing Salesforce records work with CloudFiles
To set up CloudFiles automations for existing Salesforce records (data migration), ensure your flows are configured and you have a paid subscription.
