Whitelist CloudFiles IP Addresses in Salesforce

If your Salesforce environment has IP restrictions in place, you need to whitelist CloudFiles' IP addresses to ensure seamless integration and functionality. This guide outlines the steps to whitelist these IPs.

IP Addresses for Whitelisting

CloudFiles servers currently operate in a single region (USA, N. Virginia). To enable CloudFiles' access, please whitelist the following dedicated IP addresses in your Salesforce environment:

  • 3.219.158.139
  • 3.234.13.156
  • 54.164.131.214

Steps to Whitelist IP Addresses in Salesforce

  1. Log in to Salesforce:
    • Navigate to your Salesforce instance with appropriate admin credentials.
  2. Access Network Access Settings:
    • Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
    • Select Setup.
    • In the Quick Find box, type Network Access.
    • Click on Network Access under Security.
  3. Add Trusted IP Ranges:
    • Click New to add a new IP range.
    • Enter Start and End IP Address for each CloudFiles IP.
      • Example for IP 1:
        • Start IP Address: 3.219.158.139
        • End IP Address: 3.219.158.139
    • Repeat this step for the remaining IP addresses.
    • Optionally, add a Description (e.g., “CloudFiles IP Address”).
  4. Save Your Changes:
    • Click Save to apply the new IP ranges.
