Introduction
CloudFiles Document AI uses a multi-agent approach to give users precise control over how AI handles different types of document operations. Instead of a single, general-purpose model, CloudFiles provides a collection of functional AI agents, each optimized for a specific task, such as querying document content, splitting large files, or responding to text-based prompts.
This modular setup allows users to assign the right agent for the right purpose, improving accuracy, performance, and consistency across workflows. Agents can be managed at the account level or directly within a Flow, depending on how your automation is structured.
- Document Querying Agents – Interact with document content to extract insights, answer questions, or analyze data.
- Direct Querying Agents – Handle general, text-based queries that aren’t tied to any specific document.
- Document Processing Agents – Perform operations such as splitting, organizing, and structuring large documents.
Specialized Agents (Coming Soon)
Specialized agents extend functional agents for targeted use cases, such as forms with checkboxes, invoices, or compliance records. They are designed for enhanced accuracy and efficiency on specific document types and will complement functional agents for more focused automation.
